This October half-term there’s something spooky happening at County Square.
On Wednesday 22nd from 10am to 3pm, join us for spooky face painting in Main Square. There is no charge, just turn up.
On Friday 24th 10am to 3pm we are running our spooky Cauldron lucky dip with a guaranteed prize!. Spend £10 or more in a County Square store: take your receipt(s) to the witches and they will grant your child a lucky dip in our spooky cauldron to pull out a free prize. The question is, will it be a trick or treat!? Inside the cauldron is an opportunity to win one of two special tickets for a £50 gift card.
Don’t forget to pop in for some spooky crafts, toys and decorations from The Works, Poundland and The Entertainer.
Terms and Conditions for the Spooky Cauldron Lucky Dip:
- The event is for children aged 3 and above. Please note some prizes contain sweets.
- Trick or Treat items may contain small parts and are unsuitable for children under 3 years old.
- Children must be supervised at all times during the event.
- The event will operate while stocks last.
- Prizes cannot be returned. The selected ‘trick or treat’ prize is final.
- The prize is not negotiable, or transferable, and no cash alternative will be offered.
- County Square and/or its events/promotions operator reserve the right to refuse any customer from participating in the event if rules of the promotion are not complied with, or their conduct is not compliant with centre rules and regulations.
- This promotion is run by County Square Shopping Centre, (Management Suite, County Square Shopping Centre, Ashford, Kent, TN23 1YB).
- By entering this event, you also agree to photographs being taken and used on County Square promotional and marketing material (including County Square social media sites).
- 2 x lucky winners of a “special ticket” pulled out of the dip will have the chance to redeem a prize of a £50 gift card*.
*This will be available to redeem AFTER the 24/10/25. The gift card must be chosen from a store within County Square that operates such a scheme and will be made available to you within 5 working days from receipt of your store choice (preference to be made via email).
- The Lucky Dip event is not open to any member of staff working in County Square including retailers.
- By entering the lucky dip event, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
Receipts
**Receipts:
- must be from a store in County Square.
- must be for purchases on 24th October (and be dated as such).
- Can be combined to achieve the desired total (i.e.: two £5 receipts can be used as one £10 receipt to enter).
- you must present your receipt/receipts to the minimum value of £10 from purchases on 24th October ONLY, which will be stamped. Once stamped, the receipts cannot be resubmitted. Receipts outside of 24th October will not be valid for event entry.
- Offer applies to Trick or Treat lucky dip event on 24th October 2025 only. While stocks last.
- One entry per child/one dip per spend. Receipts in multiples greater than £10 cannot be
used for additional ‘dips’ e.g.: A £30 receipt does not permit 3 x ‘dips’.
