Designed for Kids aged up to 11 with an intriguing space theme, Kocoworld is packed with slides, tunnels, ball pits and climbing frames. A place where play meets exploration.
Summary
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Soft Play Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our soft play facility – Koco-World. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety, cleanliness, and enjoyment of the play area, while also managing staff, customer relations, and administrative tasks. The Soft Play Manager will play a key role in creating a safe, fun, and engaging environment for children and families.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
– Operations Management:
Oversee the daily operations of the soft play area, ensuring all equipment is safe, clean, and well-maintained. Regularly inspect play structures, safety features, and hygiene standards.
– Staff Supervision:
Recruit, train, and manage a team of play attendants and customer service staff. Create staff schedules, monitor performance, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.
– Health and Safety Compliance:
Enforce and maintain all health and safety regulations. Ensure staff are trained in emergency procedures. Conduct regular risk assessments and implement any necessary improvements.
– Customer Service:
Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing concerns, resolving complaints, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Assist with bookings, party planning, and promotions.
– Financial Management:
Oversee budget management for the facility, including tracking expenses, managing inventory, and ensuring cost-effective operations. Report financial performance to senior management.
– Administrative Tasks:
Manage bookings, invoicing, and other administrative duties related to the smooth operation of the soft play facility.
Requirements
– Proven experience in managing a soft play facility or a similar environment (children’s entertainment, hospitality, or any leisure industries).
– Strong leadership and team management skills.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to handle customer queries and complaints effectively and professionally.
– Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
– Experience in budget management and financial reporting.
– First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
– Passion for working with children and families
– DBS check
– Must be able to drive
