Shopper information

Non-essential stores are now closed!

Following the Government's announced on 4th January 2021, Ashford has moved from Tier 4 to a national lockdown so our non-essential stores will need to remain closed until further notice.

However, some retailers may operate a Click & Collect service so please check the particular store's website and social media information.

Essential retailers will be allowed to continue to trade and take-away services may still operate. However, we are still awaiting confirmation on the details so it would be best to contact the stores direct for information.

For those visiting essential stores, Click & Collect services and take-aways, the following plans have been put in place to follow Government guidelines and keep everyone as safe as possible

  • Entrance to County Square will be via the Tufton Street entrance or NCP Car park only
  • The Tufton Street entrance will be manned by our Customer Service operatives between 9am and 5.30pm Monday to Saturday and 10am to 4pm on Sunday
  • Customers entering will be asked which store they are visiting. Your visit must be purposeful
  • Customers will not be allowed to wander through without reason
  • Escalators will be turned off and customers diverted to the lifts
  • Toilet facilities will be heavily reduced, with only the Disabled Toilets available for customers
  • Barriers may be rearranged to help direct or cordon off areas

Some of the above information may change as we move through lockdown. We will keep you informed accordingly.

Please see our News page for up-to-date information or visit the individual store's own page on this website.

If visiting, it is important that you follow the centre's guidelines as we've worked hard to make your visit as safe as possible.

Face coverings that cover your face and nose must be worn on the malls and in shops, unless you are medically exempt.

The one-way system and social distancing marked floor vinyls, designated turning points and barriers are here to keep you safe, so please don't ignore these.

Hand sanitiser stations are located at various locations throughout the centre.

We have a live counting system to monitor the number of people in the centre to ensure customers have sufficient space for social distancing, once we are fully trading again.

On occasion, if the number people in the centre reaches capacity, we may need to stop others coming in so please be patient and understand that we will let you in as soon as possible.

Our cleaning regimes have been enhanced, particularly in key areas such as washrooms and lifts. Additionally, the County Square team will be on hand at entrances or on the malls to assist customers with the new changes".
