We are pleased to announce that our Olympic/Paralympic exhibition is now open! 🎉

Across the past couple of weeks, we have been challenging local schools to design their very own sports kit for the chance to win £1,000 for their school! ✨ After receiving hundreds of fantastic entries, and much deliberation from the judges, our winner is Esther Hodnett, a year 7 pupil from Chilmington Green Secondary School, who created an incredible entry and is a very deserving winner. 🏆

Esther was presented with her prize today alongside her school principal, Mr Rutland and the Mayor of Ashford, Councillor Lyn Suddards 🙌
In celebration of the Olympic/Paralympic, our gallery, filled with all the amazing entries, is now open for the public to view here at County Square!
Located between Specsavers and Deichmann, head down and admire the amazing creations by your little ones! 😍

Rebecca Wood, Assistant Principal at Chilmington Green School, commented “Everyone at Chilmington Green School is incredibly proud of Esther. Her design is fantastic, reflecting her artistic talents and creativity. We are very grateful to County Square for their donation which we will use to purchase specialist PE equipment for sports such as curling and volleyball. Sport is an integral part of our offer at Chilmington Green School and, as we grow, we will be offering a wider and more varied range of sporting opportunities for our students.”
